Inspiring rather than depressing, this detox guide is a complete winner!

OK so I haven't actually done the detox yet. But the great thing about this book is that even by applying a few of the pre-detox changes, I started to feel the effects.

There's loads of advice on generally healthy and detoxing foods, and some yummy ideas for indulgent do it yourself spa tricks!

Colour Scents: Healing with Colour and Aroma by Patricia Davis
An interesting and informative book which mixes the healing arts of aromatherapy and colour therapy.

It contains useful background information on both therapies, describing how colour and scent both influence our health and moods.

There is also plenty of practical advice and guidance on how to blend essential oils, making it suitable for the beginner as well as the more experienced who would like a refreshing perspective on aromatherap and its potential.

Illustrated Elements of - Crystal Healing by Simon Lilly
Lots of photographs and a simple layout make this book a valuable reference guide to all the elements of crystal healing. Its clear text includes step-by-step instructions and lots of ideas for layouts and exercises.
